If you take the boat for Venice just
after breakfast, you can be in Venice
on the famous Piazza San Marco already
1 hour later.

There is no city like Venice.
The best way to  get to  know the
city is to walk along the Calli, Campi
and Campielli.

You will become intimately
acquainted with the unique atmosphere
of the quainter parts of the city, that
escape the hurried tourist.

A good map  is necessary - ask at
the  reception and very important is
a good sensible pair of shoes.

To  move  about Venice  also use
the efficient water service  of  the
  "Canale Grande".

Exploring  Venice  by the "VAPORETTO"
(the local water bus) you  will be treated
to the  parade  of  palaces bordering the
winding waterways, presenting you some
 of the finest architecture  in Italy.

The "Gondolas", the symbol of the city
are  truly romantic and  if  you  are willing 
to  spend  about 100 Eur for an unforgettable
experience, you  should  not  waste  the
opportunity. (Fix price beforehand!). 

Gondolas  are built at the Squero di
San Trovaso in Dorsoduro just around
the corner from our Apartment Calle Nani.
